October 3-5, 2008 - Warm Springs, Oregon, Kah-Nee-Ta High Desert Resort

We are holding our April retreat in Warm Springs, Oregon at the Kah-Nee-Ta Resort. This resort features first-class accommodations in newly renovated suites and guestrooms. Each room has an impressive view over the traditional Native American landscape.

We, of course, plan to be scrapping but there are plenty of other things to do at the resort! There is an 18-hole golf course, an Olympic-sized swimming pool as well as a natural Hot Springs pool, water slide, miniature golf, hiking and biking trails, horseback riding, tennis, baseball, and volleyball courts. Spa Wanapine features 8 European-style treatment rooms, hydrotherapy, massage, reflexology, body and facial treatments, manicures and pedicures. There is also the Indian Head Casino if you want to try your luck there. Anytime you might have "scrappers block" you can clear your head with a variety of other activities designed for your total relaxation!

November 7-9, 2008 - Astoria, Oregon Holiday Inn Express

This November we will hold our retreat at the Holiday Inn Express in Astoria, Oregon. The hotel is located in the heart of historic Astoria, close to museums, antique stores, interpretive centers and Victorian-style homes. Explore Astoria's waterfront while riding a completely refurbished 1913 trolley which you can pick up right outside the crop room. The crop room has huge windows with a wonderful river view and the spectacular Astoria bridge.

Guest rooms have two queen beds overlooking the river or the city. There is a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and DVD player in each room. The hotel offers an indoor pool, whirlpool and an exercise room. We've had a retreat here before and its just beautiful! The crop room view will inspire anyone!
