Hi, we’re the Scrapping Sisters, Suzanne Ramos (the "Big" sister) and Margaret Boyd (the "Little" sister). We are both stay-at-home moms with wonderful families and we love to scrap. However, that’s where our similarities end. Suzanne is a bit more adventuresome and loves to travel and see new things. I’m more of the "homebody" and like to putz about at home. Even our scrapping styles are different: Suzanne uses lots of bright colors in asymmetrical layouts while I like everything lined up and organized.
Suzanne traveled the country for fifteen years, seeing the world as a paramedic. I stayed in Oregon (where we grew up) to get my Master’s degree in teaching then moved to Texas for 3 years. Happily, we both moved back to the beautiful Northwest so we can raise our kids together and now, live only 2 blocks away from each other.
Suzanne met her husband, Oskar, in Arizona where they were both paramedics. They fell in love and had a big white wedding 8 months later (much to my shock and dismay; I hadn’t even met him yet!). I met her husband, Matt, in Texas where we both started our careers as teachers. It took us 3 years to finally decide to get married. Suzanne and Oskar have a handsome, typical (i.e. feisty) 2-year-old boy, Sebastian. Matt and I have a beautiful, energetic 18-month-old girl, Isabelle and another baby on the way (due in late August).
We have taken many scrapbook classes and attended retreats and crop nights. Suzanne worked for a local scrapbooking company teaching classes and different techniques at conventions around the country. She loved to teach and travel but missed her baby too much to be gone every other weekend.
We know how hard it is to find time to scrap all those beautiful pictures (ours are usually scrapped in the wee hours of the morning). We want to set up scrapbooking retreats as a way to help other busy people get their pictures scrapped and have lots of fun doing it! We are so excited to embark on this new adventure offering scrapbooking retreats for other dedicated scrappers.
